SAVING THE EARTH
Before we relate what our Ancestors have to say in regards to 'Saving the Earth', we speak briefly on the rise in deterrents to Man's own survival.
Recent climatic conditions prevailing upon us reveal very clearly that it is human interference and insensitivity towards Nature that has caused it. A humanity that
takes much pride in all its technological advances and boasts of all its achievements has conveniently ignored the crucial limitations of respecting Nature for what She is. Humankind is
unprepared for the consequences of its own actions.
We have listed below some of the drawbacks of techno living. We all are well aware of these, which is why we have not expanded in depth about them.

Dependence on techno utilities defines this world as a fast world. But, it makes man more distracted, externally active and internally passive.

The waste products coming from the manufacture and then annihilation of techno utilities, from factories, toxic wastes, etc are all dumped in places of natural
resources, e.g. rivers, ocean, etc.

The genetic mutation of crops and the tapering of it to one kind of variety
-
The genetic experiments based of cell research, e.g. cloning, designer babies, etc.
-
The collective impact of all this and more corrupting human genes and the oncoming generations.

The harmful production of massive weapons of destruction atomic as well as bio weapons indicating to the inconsistency of our faith in our own kind.

The air pollution caused by us causing acidic rain
Mankind's insatiable thirst for consumption and instant gratification has led to the dominant abuse of both the
Natural and manmade elements and forces

The exploitation of plants and animals

The consumption of space
-
The consumption of land
-
The consumption of water
-
The consumption of natural fuels

The consumption of electricity
We have not even spared our own selves from such utilitarian attitudes:

Attitude of encouraging schematic techno solutions and introducing such attitudes in our own kind, our
children, friends, family etc.

Attitude of inconsideration for Natural resources and Her limitations.

Attitude of ignoring the problems we create for our future generations

Attitude of the consumer mind seeking quantitative needs and instant relief's

Attitude of greedy market giants encouraging unhealthy consumption
All these problems that humanity has caused for itself have resulted in Natural calamities and disastrous effects on the environment, a fact, which is not a new or an
unknown one.

EMPHASIS ON FOLKLORE LIVING
So why do we at this point emphasize on a folklore lifestyle? What is its underlying relevance to our present day situation?

Nature's way of providing us qualitative in Her own accord.

Nature already pre designs the idyllic lifestyle for each one of us, provided we turn to Her in all humility. But, nowadays Man prefers to interfere and rule,
which only drags him further away from his natural gift - an authentic life.

Living hand in hand with Nature can only happen and flourish by imbibing the 'natural attitude', which is emphasized, described and precisely illustrated through
the Ancient Traditions. The people are not even aware of the esoteric significance of the epics and myths. In this ignorance, they are entirely missing out on the 'secrets of
Life', so compassionately shared by the Ancestors for the betterment of mankind.

CLUES FROM ANCIENT SIDDHA TRADITION
Overcome by frustration from the threats of post-modern vampirism, when we search for solutions to save our Earth and the humanity that lives on it, we find that the
Ancient Siddhas envisioned our plight and have already revealed solutions ready to be adopted towards these present day problems.
The Siddhas speak of organic plantations as well as ways to channelise Natures energy and recycle it back to nature Herself. They mention the use of organic fertilizers
and speak of enhancing the germination power of plants. This specialised process They call 'Karuppakkum Murai', which means the blackening method. It involves changing any herb, plant into
a black variety or species of the same plant group. This black plant variety has a greater potential for germination and holds a better nutritional effect. Moreover, it has enhanced
healing properties.
Secondly, the Siddhas have offered descriptions of the best 'cleansing processes', In order to remain unaffected by pollution, by ways of Tantric rituals and fire
worships; and by way of cleansing water through some plants.
Their Manuscripts contain verses related to insightful methods of construction. They have described the construction of a house with a directional orientation according
to the Manai Adi Sastra (the Vastu dimension of the Siddha Tradition). They also include the importance of constructing houses in resonance with the Tantric Planetary modes. The ancient
Siddha Samadhi Shrines and old temples have been constructed based entirely on this ancient Science
